The University of Kansas Health System, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, is seeking a dedicated Transplant Hepatologist to join our academic department committed to advancing gastroenterology and hepatology through cutting-edge technology, collaborative research, and outstanding patient care.

Key Position Highlights:
- Manage all aspects of liver disease. Essential functions include upper endoscopy procedure, colonoscopy, liver biopsies, as well as patient visits in the outpatient clinic and providing inpatient consultative services
- Serve as a clinical educator to GI fellows, residents, and medical students
- Engage in clinical or basic science research
- Gastroenterology team comprised of 15 Gastroenterologists, 6 Transplant Hepatologists, 3 IBD Faculty and 22 APPs
- 12 Endoscopy suites - and planning for additional rooms with current expansion
- Participate in educational conferences

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- MD, DO or equivalent
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
